Since many of you got hung up on the funny bangs/mullet photo from the earlier post, I thought I'd show some other examples. If any of you wanna try and say that these people look better with bangs, bring it on. But I guarantee no heterosexual male thinks so.

Yes, side swept bangs get a pass. You'll have to forgive me, as a dude I didn't know about these until very recently.

I hate bangs, too, but not because of how they look - I hate hair in/on my face. But, I have had bangs in the past, and the most shameful were the "bangs to heaven" in the 80's where you teased them a lot, and they were really BIG.

How is the writer's strike going? Any updates?
The strike is not going well. The last thing that happened was that the AMPTP walked away from the negotiating table. They had a list of 6 things they demanded we drop or else they wouldn't talk to us anymore - which is kinda weird because isn't that what you're supposed to negotiate? You know, "we'll give up this if you give up that"? But no, they said give up everything you want or else we won't speak with you. Basically, they're not bargaining with us right now because that way they have no expenses in December and it looks great for their 2007 bottom line. Clearly, they never intended to make a deal until after the new year cause that's when it will start to affect them.
The next thing that's going to happen is that they are going to negotiate with the Directors Guild (their contract is up in June). The DGA has some different issues than us, and it is believed they'll have an easier time working out a deal. However, they do have some of the same internet demands so we'll see. It is believed that if they get an okay deal we could get and approve something similar very quickly. So as soon as they can hammer something out with them, they'll come back to us.
I'd say it's looking like late January/February at the earliest. It sucks!
I enjoy this post because I cut bangs recently and have gotten tons of compliments on them, but my boyfriend is definitely not a fan. At least they're long enough to be 'side-swept', haha.
