Uh, sorry but the AP (hardly a right-wing, Republucan bastion) actually fact-checked Obama's bogus claim on this:
"The problem with that rosy claim is that the Wall Street bailout is part of the calculation.
The bailout ballooned the 2009 budget just before Obama took office, making Obama's 2010 spending look smaller in comparison. And as almost $150 billion of the bailout was paid back during Obama's watch, it's counted as government spending cuts."
uh, sorry rachel. i appreciate the comment, but if you folks wanna keep hanging the 800k jobs lost during the month obama was sworn in, then i'm not gonna quibble over what bush did. i know how you hate it when bush is blamed for anything, so let's just stick to the actual numbers.
mitt romney says spending under obama has "accelerated at a pace without precedent in recent history"
now if that's not a lie, then i don't know what is.
